Due to the gestational diabetes, we get to have a bunch of ultrasounds to make sure everything is ok. So I went for another one on Monday. He is very healthy, just big. He already weighs 4lbs., 2 oz. and I have at least 8 more weeks to go! YIKES! That puts him in the 70th percentile. As long as he doesn't get to the 90th percentile, they say that we are doing ok - so that's what I'm praying for!!!
Just before my ultrasound, Jenn and Nate went in for theirs - they are having a....girl - a little bit of adjustment for them, b/c they were both sure they were having a boy! Here's a funny/strange story. Jenn has had at least 5 dreams that they were having a boy. When she asked the doctor about it (after finding out it was a girl), the doctor looked at her and asked, "Do you have a sister who is pregnant with a boy?" When Jenn said yes, the doc went on to say that that happens all the time. Sisters dreams about each other's babies. So now that I know she is having a girl, I wonder if I am going to start having dreams about my neice!?!?! We are all syked though to have a little girl around.
