Official Due Date: June 22, 2007
Last Friday, which was Shawn's birthday, we went for our first ultrasound to project an official due date. I thought it was kinda soon to have an ultrasound, but I'm glad that we did. I thought I was only about four weeks along and we found out that we are more like 7 weeks along. So here is the picture of our little peanut...literally he/she is the size of a peanut! It was so cool though because we all (Ayden and Shawn were both there too) we able to see and hear the heartbeat. Ayden kept looking at the screen and saying, "Ook Ook!" He was so excited and he didn't have a clue what he was looking at.
This baby is already giving me more trouble than Ayden ever did. I have been much sicker this time around. And I'm more tired - but I think that's b/c I'm busy chasing Ayden around all day long.

So excited for you all! How funny. We were stuck in the baby section of JC Penneys this AM after worship, waiting for Eric. (I can't help but fondle all the clothes and dream of babies!... )Anyway, I said to Caroline...I'll bet Shawn and Kristy have another baby sometime pretty soon. Seems about time... HA!!! Exciting stuff. Mayeb your baby will be born a week early on my birthday!!!!!! I dont know why it is always so exciting to have someone else born on your birthday. There are only 365 days in a year, there are MILLIONS of people born on my birthday. Despite this, it would still be cool if baby bates was born on my birthday!
