Just a Little Braggin' on My Bubba

I guess I'm entitiled to do this from time to time...please don't think I'm boasting about myself or anything I'm doing. In all actuality, I am just more and more amazed every day about what God does in our lives. It just seems to be more magnified in Ayden because I am around him so much and I see the progress that he makes on a moment to moment basis. He soaks in so much and the amount that he remembers and actually understands really blows my mind!

He seems to be going through a growth spurt right now - I will put him to bed and it seems that when I get him out of his crib the next morning he has grown a couple more inches (I know I am exaggerating!). Yesterday for lunch he ate 2, count them 2 hotdogs and half of a bowl of mac 'n cheese. That's more than I can eat now and I'm pregnant!

He is such a cuddlebug! He runs over probably once every half hour for a good snuggle...I just love that! And forget it when his ChiChi (my sister) is around - they are some serious buddies!

The older he gets the more I can see that he has Shawn's sense of humor. He is talking/yelling/dancing/laughing/running/playing/making others laugh from the moment he gets up until the moment he goes to bed (of course with the occasional breakdown...he is almost 2). And not that this is like Shawn, but everything that he does is so dramatic...he has the best expressions! And what a faker - he can turn the tears on and off with no effort whatsoever!

He will repeat pretty much everything he hears - so we are having to be extra careful what we say! He is now counting to five - thanks to Sesame Street - and anytime he hears just the number five he will say "six, seven, eight," but he doesn't put them all together yet. It is also so funny to watch and listen to him count b/c he get the whole concept of using his hand but he just holds his hand up and wiggles his fingers.

I guess I will stop here for now...thanks for listening! I promise I won't do this all the time!
