Why am I awake?

Good morning, I think! For some reason this morning I could not sleep. I know Shawn got a phone call at like 3-something - I think I heard him say something about Jami and Kaitlin...hmmm, what were you girls doing up? :)
I went back to sleep after that for a little while, but from like 5-6:15 I just tossed and turned and tried to move without kicking the cat. So I just decided to get up. Now this is not like me - besides the fact that I have to get up like 3 times a night to run to the bathroom b/c junior or juniorette is dancing on my bladder. Usually I relish any moment (and I do mean moment) that I can lay down and close my eyes, because they are few and far between.

Actually I have been thinking about a certain possible future opportunity that I wish God would just say, "TAKE IT!" or "LEAVE IT ALONE!" So maybe that's what's keeping me up. Anyway, please pray for us as we make some decisions. When life seems to be so up in the air, it is so hard to wait on God for His timing - but I guess I had better b/c I don't know what else to do!

Last night we had a really good time. Some friends of ours, Paul and Allison Glover (and Hailey and Riley) drove out and all 7 of us went to dinner in Atlantic City. We tried out this Mexican place and it was pretty good...not like Mi Ranchito in Searcy, AR - THAT'S FOR SURE! Anyway, we had such a good time - the kids got along so well and even played really well together (Ayden is younger than Hailey and older than Riley - actually like smack dab in the middle). It was a much needed social event for us...we REALLY don't get out much! It is just really nice to be friends with REAL people - not trying to be something that God never intended them to be. We have a lot of really wonderful friends that we miss a ton - most of ours are scattered throughout the country. WE MISS YOU ALL!

I think today my sister and I are going to take the train into Atlantic City and go to the Carter's outlet store. The are having a big sale and I have coupons!!! WooHoo! That it unless it continues to rain like it has been. I like rainy days, but we are seriously needing some sunshine around here.
