Getting you caught up...
The past two and a half weeks have been crazy, but in a very good way. We had an awesome week off with Shawn after we came home from the hospital. It went way too quick, and we are looking forward to his next week off - whenever that may be. Shawn's parents came into town on the 23rd and rented a beach house in Brigantine for a week. Ryan and Shathar (Shawn's brother and his wife) came into town on the 25th and then they all were able to stay in town until early early on Saturday morning. Unfortunately Shawn had to work most of the week, but he did have Thursday off so the guys went fishing that day and we tried to do things at night when he was off of work. We went to the Ocean City boardwalk on Tuesday night, out to dinner with Ryan and Shathar on Wednesday night, shopping on Thursday night after dinner at the AC outlet stores (that was the second time the girls and the kids went shopping that day!), and just hung out the rest of the week. We all had a really great time and we hope that we don't go a whole year again before we can all be together!
For some reason, Shawn had off Tuesday as well as Monday (trust me...I am not complaining - we just can never bank on his schedule being the same from week to week), so I invited a bunch of people over to help me make baby shower invitations for my sister...there ended up being like 62 or something. Thanks for your help guys! For the 4th of July we went to the AC Surf baseball game (Ayden says, "Bapesball Game"), but we only made it through the first 5 innings and never got to see fireworks - such is life. Poor Ayden tried to stay awake, but he just kept getting crankier - the passed two weeks had finally caught up with him and he was exhausted! Yesterday we had dinner company, so I was home cooking, and then finally today is Jenn's birthday - although I don't think I am going to get to see her. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHI CHI! We are having company for dinner tonight, but I am not cooking, so I have tried to take today to get caught up on the laundry and stuff. Every time I think we are starting to get Levi on a sleeping schedule, he throws a curveball and reminds me that I am not in control! Ayden is back to sleeping and napping well again, so we'll work on the little guy.
Here are some pictures - I have to find some of the other ones that I want to post and I'll get them on here ASAP. Have a great night!!!
