Happy Birthday, Babe!

I just wanted to say a little something about the most wonderfulest husband/father/friend in the world. He is the most selfless person - and I just see it more and more as the boys get bigger. My favorite time of the day is when Shawn walks in the door from work. (He could want alone time to unwind from the day, but instead gets right to playing with the boys.) Ayden is usually really syked and can't wait 'til Daddy will "play me." The reason he can't wait is that Daddy will wrestle around with him. Shawn has already taught Ayden that we don't play that way with Momma - we just hug and kiss her. He also is teaching him about being a gentleman and opening doors for Momma. If my boys are anything like my hubby, my future daughters-in-law (if that's what God's plans are for them) will be very lucky girls! I love the way Levi lights up and smiles at him as well. He has been quite the Momma's boy (especially since I've been nursing him) and gives Shawn a hard time when I'm not around, but Shawn will just patiently hold him or walk with him until I can get back and never complains about it. He is so wonderful!

Shawn works so hard for us...his job has been less than desirable, but he trucks along and does the best job he can. I love going into the store because his workers speak so highly of him. He demands respect of them without belittle them or degrading them and it shows. Everyone loves Shawn!
