Progress on the house

Well, Thursday is the day that we are technically supposed to be in the house. It's not going to happen! :(

We have made a ton of progress, but our carpet got backordered and there is still a lot to do. We will be in by the end of the month though!

Here's the latest pictures:

Ayden's room is 95% done - just need to finish up the trim and put the ceiling fan.

Levi's room is the current project - it will be ready to be primed and painted in the next couple of days.

Here are the stairs - we've closed it in at the top and turned the last four steps so that people don't smack their heads on the ceiling as they walk up the steps. Even more has been done since this picture was taken. The wall is finished and just needs to be spackled and sanded now before paint.

The playroom is now finished...in fact, this afternoon I am moving the "nursery" in there so we can paint our bedroom.

The kitchen is functional now - not easy to cook in, but at least we have a stove and running water. That's Jenn, very excited about the progress, and Mom, wearing her dust mask! And look at my beautiful new stove - I am so happy to be cooking with gas!!!!!

PopPop and Unk looking at the plumbing in the bathroom - Nate now has the water running to the tub - just a couple of leaks to fix. In his words, "It wouldn't be plumbing if there weren't leaks."

And our bedroom looks exactly the same right this moment...that the next project! Should only take a couple of days! Famous Last Words!
